The point is, for abortion or the "choice" to have one, the people who support it have already been born and are deciding whether or not those who have NOT been born should live.
Rather unfair, wouldn't you say?

I am going to have to say I agree with you, it does seem unfair. But is it worse to "kill" a child before it's born, or have it grow up in a life where no one wants it?
Another thing... If abortions become illegal, it's not going to stop people from having them. Before they were legalized, people would get abortions in garages or basements, and it was terribly unsafe. Many women died from them, because they got infected with unsanitary equipment, or they bled to death. Just because they wouldn't or didn't want to have the baby. (And I'm fairly certain it's going to very difficult to convince all those people they should have the baby.)
Deciding whether it's legal or not, doesn't mean they're going to stop happening. It's just determining whether they're going to happen in safe places like hospitals, or unsafe places like garages.
The point is, they shouldn't be happening at all, hospitals and garages aside. There's absolutely no reason to have an abortion when there are other options available. If the child was "unwanted", then the mother should have been more careful with her body.
Yes, I understand that things happen sometimes (a mother can't afford to feed her baby, incest, rape, etc). That's why God gave man the brilliant idea of adoption. I know that having the child around may add to the mother's trauma (in the case of incest and/or rape), but this goes back to adoption; how much more trauma will the mother feel by killing her own child? Statistics show that mothers who abort their babies suffer various types of depression, insomnia, and nightmares for years, even leading into their 30s and 40s. Why would they be depressed if abortion is okay? Besides, the true target would be missed; if the woman was raped, punish the RAPIST.
Another argument is "What if the mother would die from having the baby?" Well, frankly, that's not the point we're arguing here. Life-and-death situations are a completely different ball game. The topic at hand is assuming the mother is fine and, for whatever reason, doesn't "want" her baby.
In any of these situations, the baby is completely innocent, regardless of how it was conceived. Taking in innocent life is called murder.

They're "pro-choice."
Meaning, they are for the Choice to get an abortion.
